ohm's law states that the voltage applied across a conductor is directly proportional to the current passing through it.

And that proportionality constant is the resistance of the conductor R

hence ohm's law can be mathematically stated as V=IR

This law can be verified experimentally with the help of voltmeter and ammeters.
The experiment must be conducted on any one conductor.
You will always note that the ratio V/I is always coming out to be constant


yes there are some conductors which do not obey this law and hence are called non ohmic conductors.

All the conductors which obey ohm's law are called.as OHMIC CONDUCTORS
