Ohm's law states that at a constant temperature the voltage is directly proportional to the current flowing in a circuit. if I is the current flowing through a conductor and V is the potential difference across it ends then I is directly proportional to V. Mathematically V propotional to I. And to remove thw propotionality constant we introduce R where R is resistance of the conductor. Therefore V=RI.
