All living things breathe, eat, grow, move, reproduce and have senses. Non-living things do not eat, grow, breathe, move and reproduce. They do not have senses.

Answer:
Living things such as humans, plants and animals survive because of oxygen, food, water, and shelter. Nonliving things don't require anything to survive. Living things can move such as a fish swims, birds fly, humans walk, and plants show movements. Whereas a nonliving thing can't move on its own until we move it.
