Answer: Disadvantage of using synthetic fibres for making clothes is they are non biodegradable and cause lot of pollution.

Examples of synthetic fibres are polyester, acrylic, nylon etc. these fibres are produced from chemicals and polymers and are not naturally grown.

Lots of water and energy is needed to produce these synthetic fibres and thus leave a huge carbon footprint. Chemicals, dyes and also finishers are used while producing these fibres.
