State one feature that is similar and one feature that is dissimilar with respect to mitochondria and plastids.

Dissimilarity :Plastids are found only in plant cells. Mitochondria are found, both in plant cell as well as in animal cell.

Simmilarity :They both provides energy to the cell.

Answer:  One feature that is similar in mitochondria and plastids-

They both are specialised membrane bound organelles that help in processing energy for the cell ( cellular respiration through mitochondria and photosynthesis through chloroplast, which is a type of plastid).

One feature that is dissimilar with respect to mitochondria and plastid is-

Mitochondria contains fold in their inner membrane, which are called as cristae ( that increase the surface area for ATP production) and found in both plants as well as animals whereas there are no folds present in case of plastids and they are only found in plants.
