If we places liquid in container then it acquire space according to the shape of the container because liquid does not have its own shape.
If we take solid and then kept in container then it cannot change according to the container then its shape is permanent it cannot change according to it.
so, the property of a liquid that a solid does not posses.is liquid can change the shape according to the container but solid cannot.
