NITOGEN IS A GAS WHIC IS POISONOUS FOR LIFE ORGANISMS.

SO T DOESNT ALLOW THE FOOD TO BE OXIDISED THUS PREVENTS RANIDITY

HOPE IT HELPS. PLZ MARK THE BRAINLIEST.

HEYA MATE !

1. Chips manufacturers usually flush bags of chips with gas such as nitrogen: this is to prevent them from getting oxidised.Nitrogen is an unreactive gas and thus,do not allow the chips to get rancid.

2. Iron articles loose their shine gradually:Iron when exposed to moist air for a long time acquires a coating of a brown flaky substance called rust which results it in loosing it's shine.

Fe+O2--> Fe2O3 i.e, rust.

3. Food is kept in air tight container : This helps in the slow down of the phenomena of oxidation and protecting it from getting rancid.

hope it helps

pls mark it as the brainliest answer :)

GOOD LUCK FOR UR BOARD EXAMS !!
