Equality did not exist in Palampur owing to the presence of a large number of people in the village.
There are a large number of small and landless farmers in that village.
In addition to it, there are around 150 Dalit families in that village.
Caste discrimination exists in such villages as there are people belonging to low caste.
In fact, in equality exists in places where illiteracy is rampant.
