Both boiling and evaporation results in the phase change from liquid state to vapour state. It is takes place at the entire mass of the liquid. It takes place at the surface of the liquid.

similarity:
=>both cause the material to change it's state from liquid .

differences
=>evaporation needs temperature more than 100°C whereas boiling point needs 0°C or less than that
=>evaporation causes a material to shift to it's vapour(gaseous)form and boiling causes a material to shift to it's solid form.
