Answer:

The plant is a small tree 10 to 13 meters in height. The fruits are 3 to 5 cm in diameter and are sub spherical yellowish brown orange like berries. The epicarp is leathery and the pulp is bitter whitish and mucilaginous in which 2 to 5 seeds are embedded. The natives collect Ripe and nature fruits in November to February.

Epicarp is separated and seeds are removed and washed to remove adherent pulp. They are dried on mats in the sun and graded according to size and exported. In Indian nux-vomica is collected from wild plants as the cost of collection is because of cheep labour.
