If two vectors of same time starting from the same point R represent in magnitude and direction by two adjacent side of parallelogram then its resultant vector is given in magnitude and direction by the diagonal of the parallelogram starting from the same point it is a parallelogram law of vectors

If two vectors can be represented both the magnitude and direction by the two adjacent sides of parallelogram drawn from common point then their resultant is completely represented in both magnitude and direction by the diagonal of parallelogram passing through that.
