Answer:

PASCAL LAW states that if Pressure is applied at a fixed point inside a closed container then this Pressure gets equally transmitted throughout the Liquid.

Let Pressure applied = P = F/a

Let two tubes C & D of Area ' a ' & ' A ' such that a < A having frictionless pistons

Let F1 be force on tube C

and F2 be force on tube D

When F1 is applied on Tube C of area ' a ' then this Causes Pressure P to distribute or transmit to Tube D of area ' A '

F1 = P.a

=>. P = F1/a -----( 1 )

By Pascal's Law this Pressure is constant

Also , F2 = P.A

Using equñ ( 1 )

F2 = F1/a × A

=> F2 = F1 × A/a

As we know a < A, so A/a will be Much Greater

=> F2 > F1

As F2 is A/a times F1

This proves that a small force on Piston with less area Can Exert A Much Much Greater force , enough to lift any LOAD.
