Pascal's law-

The external applied to a confined liquid is distributed and applies a force by distributed transmitted in all directions and applies a force on the opposite side.

Formula of Pascal's law-

$F=PA$

where,

• F = force applied
• P = pressure
• A= cross sectional area

Application of Pascal's law-

1. Hydraulic lift- If we give pressure (P1) to the side of the input force then the force applied is distributed through all the parts in the lift and it experiences a large amount of force to the output side (P2). in this the initial difference is same.
2. Hydraulic brakes- It is generally used in brakes of car by a systematic arrangement of braking mechanism which uses brake fluid when we applied a force to the paddle it gets distributed through all the ends of the master brake and then to the brakes.
