State relation between kineticenergy and momentumof a body

Kinetic Energy = 1/2*m*v^2
and Momentum = mv
Momentum^2 = m^2v^2
mv^2 = Momentum^2 / m
Now substituting mv^2 in kinetic energy formula,
Kinetic energy = 1/2*Momentum^2/m
So, Ke = P^2 / 2m
where,
ke is Kinetic energy and p is momentum.
