SIMILARITIES
- Both thermometers consist of long narrow uniform glass tubes .
- Both have a bulb in one end.
- Both contain mercury in bulb .
- Both has celcius scale..
DIFFERENCES
- Clinical thermometer reads temperature 35°C to 45°C while the range of laboratory thermometer is -10°C to 110°C..
- Clinical thermometer has link near the bulb while laboratory thermometer doesn't have a kink.
- We can only measure our body temperature using clinical thermometer while laboratory thermometer doesn't have a kink..
