SNELL'S LAW: The ratio of the sine of the angle of incidence to the ratio of sine of angle of refraction is a constant for a light of a specified colour and for the specified pair of media.

MATHEMATICALLY,

sin i / sin r = constant

ABSOLUTE REFRACTIVE INDEX:
Nm = c / v

where Nm is the refractive index of the medium, c is the speed of light in vacuum and v is the speed of light in the medium.

Hope it helped

narayan78: is it correct
guptasidd1707: thx a lot
narayan78: wait
