farming or agriculture is the backbone of Indian rural livelihoods.but it can't be substantial productive activity as this sector needs to be revamped and for this it needs to reduce it's dependable workforce and introduce modernization.
that is why 70% of Indian population which lives in Indian villages get a shift in workforce so that disguised and seasonal employment could be avoided.when we consider the ideas of palampur village,we can see the possibility of large people working in tertiary sector activities and even many can involve in small enterprises and manufacturing units.lot of extra people of a family can work on transportation works like driving rickshaws,trucks,autos or goods vehicle for carrying people and commodities.
