(1) Axon is the efferent process of neurone whereas Dendron is the afferent process of neurone.
(2) Axon is a long process whereas Dendron is a short process.
(3) In axon, myelin sheath and neurilemma are present whereas in demdron, myelin sheath and neurilemma are absent.
(4) Nissl's granules are absent in axon whereas present in dendron.
(5) Node of Ranvier is present in axon whereas absent in dendron.
(6) Axon carries nerve impulses away from the cell body whereas dendron carries nerve impulses towards cell body.
