SOLUTION :

SSS(Side- Side - Side) SIMILARITY CRITERION :

If in two triangles , sides of one triangle are proportional ( i.e. in the same ratio) to the sides of the other triangle , then their corresponding angles are equal and hence the two triangles are similar.

OR

If the corresponding sides of two triangles are proportional, their corresponding angles are equal and the two triangles are similar.

In ∆ABC & ∆PQR

AB/PQ = AC/PR = BC/QR

∆ABC ~ ∆PQR

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

To State :-

SSS similarity criterion.

Solution :-

Statements :-

If in two triangles, sides of one triangle are proportional (or are in the same ratio) to the sides of the other triangle, then the triangles are similar.

Or

If the corresponding sides of two triangles are proportional, their corresponding angles are equal and the two triangles are similar.

In ∆ABC and ∆PQR

AB/PQ = AC/PR = BC/QR

∆ABC ~ ∆PQR

By SSS similarity criterion.
