Anaerobic reactions occur in the cytoplasm of the cell and aerobic reactions occur in the mitochondria of the cells.Aerobic respiration is a process in which energy is produced, then released. During this process, sugars are converted into amino acids. Glycolysis does, the krebs cycle and ETC occur in the mitochondria.
