A Secondary Cell can be recharged. The chemical reaction which converts chemical energy into electrical energy can be reversed. Heavy currents can be drawn.

A Primary cell cannot be recharged. Chemical reaction which converts chemical energy into electrical energy cannot be reversed. Only small current can be drawn.
