⏩Main features of the 10th Five Year Plan:-

☞ It endevoured to increase the enrolment of students in the age group of 18-23 years in higher education from 6% to 9% by the end of the plan period.

☞ It emphasized on the strategy which focuses on the increasing access, quality, and adoption of states specific curriculum modification and vocational and networking on the use of IT.

☞ The strategy also focuses on distant, formal, non-formal and IT education.

☞ There has been a significant increase in the number of such universities and institutions, over the last 5 years, which are specialising in different areas.

☞ It also focuses on vocational, networking and the use of information technology in distant education.
