Archimedes principle:

Archimedes principle states that the upward buoyant force that is exerted on a body immersed in a fluid whether fully or partially submerged is equal to the wieght of the fluid that the body displaces.

Upthrust = Buoyant force = Weight of displaced fluid.

applictions:

* A hydrometer uses Archimedes’ principle to determine the density of any liquid.

* Archimedes’ principle is also used in designing ships and submarines.

archeimedes principal state  that the fluid exerts an upward force on the object immersed in it equal to it's  weight.
