The atomicity of an element is the number of atoms present in one molecule of the element.

1. Atomicity of sulphur = 8, in one molecule of sulphur (S8), eight atoms of sulphur are present. so it is found as S8

2. Atomicity of Phosphorus = 4, in one molecule of phosphorus (P4), four atoms of phosphorus are present. So atomicity of phosphorus is four.

3. Atomicity of Hydrogen = 2, in one molecule of hydrogen (H2), two atoms of hydrigen are present. So atomicity of hydrogen is 2
