The major difference between these two types of process is that in adiabatic process, there is no transfer of heat towards or from the liquid which is considered. Where on the other hand, in isothermal process, there is a transfer of heat to the surroundings in order to make the overall temperature constant.

Answer:

These processes describe the relationship between internal energy of a system and its changes. The main difference between isothermal and adiabatic process is that isothermal process occurs under constant temperature whereas adiabatic process occurs under varying temperature.
