State the basic freedom guarnted to the people in a democratic country

Every country is different in some way or another, but if we are talking in a general basic term, then here is what most people think about when taking a look at rights of a democratic country: 

Freedom of Speech
Freedom of Press
Freedom to a Lawyer/Attorney
Freedom to Assembly
Freedom of Religion

These are just a few. What I have bolded is what I personally think are some of the big ones. I hope this helps! :)
