Benefits that are derived from local wind that blow in summer in Kerala: it causes rainfall in the state which is popularly known as MANGO SHOWERS as they help in ripening of mangoes.

WEST BENGAL: the local wind is known as KALBAISAKHI bring rainfall in the state during summer season and the rainfall is useful for growing jute and rice in the state.
