the intermolecular space is more in liquids than in solids so when we add sugar in milk and stir the sugar crystals breaks into smaller particles which goes n fits in those free spaces

the matter is continuously moving and has space between them therefore the matter is continuously moving thats the reason the sugar can be added and is disappeared because matter has space in between
