1) alluvial soil are immature and and have weak profiles due to their recent origin

2)alluvial soil contain sand, slit, and clay

3)alluvial soil is considered most fertile soil. The entire northern plains from india are made from soil.

4)according to age alluvial soil is classified as
1]Bangar (old alluvial)
2]khadar (new alluvial)

5)alluvial soil contains an ample amount of phosphoric acid and lime. The soil is thus suitable for sugarcane

6)alluvial soil is deposited by river Ganga and Bhramaputra
