Australoid came to India from south-east Asia. The Aryans called them later as 'Nishad'. The Kol, Munda and Khasi tribals in Assam and the tribals in Nicobar and Myanmar are belonged to Australoid race. Their physical feature are:dark complexion, broad head, flat nose and short stature.
