Explanation:

  • For a chemical reaction to take place,

there should be recantants which will react to form product

  • some of the elements such as Sodium reacts very easily almost to everything while there are other elements such as Platinum which hardly reacts so such condition should be created so that the reactants should react
  • it is often advisable to use a catalysts in a very slow reaction

Result:

  • To conclude that a chemical reaction has taken place , check for the fact weather product is a new substance or not. In a chemical reaction always a new product is formed at the end of reaction
