Conditions for defined interference pattern -

1) Two light sources must be coherent.

2) Light sources must be monochromatic.

3) Superposition of ligjt waves is a condition.

4) Intensity of light sources must be same.

Conditions for constructive interference -

1) Two light waves must be in same phase.

2) Path difference between corresponding particles must be nλ.

Conditions for destructive interference -

1) Two light waves must be in opposite phase.

2) Path difference between corresponding particles must be (2n-1)λ/2.
