it means,
1.the extension of fluid must be limitless.
2.the sphere should be hard and it's surface should be smooth.
3.when passing make sure that sphere doesn't skid.

Well the conditions in which Stoke's Law is valid are,

1) The law applies to a fluid of infinite extent.

2) The law does not hold good if the spherical body is moving so fast that conditions are not streamline.

3) The spherical body must be rigid and smooth.
