State the conversion of energy in the following cases:-

(a) Water stored in a dam while flows down

(b) Shooting an arrow with a bow

Answer:

in first case when water is stored in a dam the energy posses is potential but when it flows down it changes into Kinetic energy so here the energy conversion take place

in second case the arrow was in state of rest before shooting that means potential energy but when it's gets shooted it's changes into Kinetic energy
