Both AC and DC describe types of current flow in a circuit. In direct current (DC), the electric charge (current) only flows in one direction. ... The voltage in AC circuits also periodically reverses because the current changes direction.

satvika14: ok bro
RebelLover2: AC stands for Alternating Current i.e. the current which changes its magnitude as well as direction w.r.t time or angle.

Example of AC are: Triangular wave, Trapezoidal Wave, Square Wave, Rectangular Wave and the most important, sinusoidal wave.

Under sinusoidal wave: Sine-wave and cosine-wave are listed.

DC stands for Direct Current i.e. the current whose magnitude as well as direction remain same (either positive or negative) w.r.t time
RebelLover2: is it ok??
RebelLover2: but dont calk me bro
satvika14: yes tqu
satvika14: but why
RebelLover2: why means??
RebelLover2: yaar because ac stands for electric energy and dc stands for battery energy
satvika14: ok
RebelLover2: but dont call me bro ok
