Autotrophs and Heterotrophs are the type of organisms on the basis of how they get the food!
Autotrophs- The organisms which produce their own food are called autotrophs. Plants are autotrophic becoz they produce their own food using chlorophyll (the pigment used for trapping sunlight and that is present in the leaves), sunlight, CO2.
Heterotrophs- The organisms which depends on others for food are called heterotrops. Animals are heteroptrophic coz they eat external foods i.e. food that is present in the surrounding.
