MYOPIA:
➡ It's near sightedness
➡A concave lens is used to correct it.
➡It is usually seen in younger people
➡It happens either becoz of big eye ball or lens being too converging

HYPERMETROPIA:
➡Its also called far sightedness
➡A convex lens is used to correct it.
➡It's usually seen in aged people
➡it either happens becoz of small eyeballs or the lens not converging as needed

When the person is able to see distant object but not the near object is called hypermetropia.It is also known as long sightedness.
When person is able to see the near object but not the distant object is called myopia. It is also known as short sightedness.
