✔ OXIDATION = addition of oxygen and Removal of hydrogen

✔REDUCTION = ADDITION Of hydrogen or Removal of oxygen

so, mate the answer is...

1. In oxidation reaction addition of oxygen takes place while in reduction reaction addition of hydrogen takes place.

2. In oxidation hydrogen is removed but in reduction reactions oxygen is removed.
