Simple tissues of plants are of three major types-


1. Parenchyma: Thin walled living cells,


2. Collenchyma: This is a permanent simple tissue and consists of thick uneven walled living cells.


3. Sclerenchyma: This permanent simple tissue consists of thick-walled dead cells which are even. These are very hard tissues.
