fuse wire has low boiling point so when a large amount of current passes through it .... heat is produced and it gets burnt quickly thus.... preventing.... the current to flow in the rest of circuit...
in heater... coil has high boiling point... so when current is passed in large amount...it gives a heating effect without burning.. as it has high bp....
