state the difference in colours of the sun observed during sunrise/sunset and noon . give explanation for each .

During sunset and sunrise colour of sky seems to red as sun rays travel a larger thickness of atmosphere ,the lower wavelength in the blue region completely scatter away and the higher wavelength i.e red is least scatter and reach our eyes..During noon blue colour as blue colour has shorter wavelength than red and hence scatter much more strongly..Hope u understand well..
