gif is moving but jpeg is stable

The main difference between the twois that GIF is effectively used forgraphics, while JPEG is only used fordigital photographs. JPEG stands forJoint Photographic Expert Group. Thefile name for a JPEG image is .jpg or .jpeg. JPEG is the most commonly used format for photographs.
