HI Deepika ! ^_^
______________________________________________________________
Isotopes = if  an element have two or more forms with same atomic number but different atomic masses it is called to be isotopes of particular element . ex. Carbon 12 and carbon 14
______________________________________________________________
Isobars= If an element have two or more forms with same atomic mass but different atomic number than it is called their isobars
example Cl 40, Ca 40, K 40

Hello deepu,

Isotopes are the forms of elements which have the same atomic number but different atomic mass numbers.

Isobars are the elements which have same atomic number but different atomic numbers.

Isotopes are the forms of a single element.

Isobars are different elements having same atomic mass.

Example of Isotopes:-
Carbon is an element which has 2 atomic masses 12 and 14

Example of isobar:-
Argon and Calcium are 2 elements with atomic number 18 and 20 respectively but atomic mass 40.

hope it helps u......
