bryophyta=a division of small green plants that comprises of mosses and liverworts

bryophytas are embryophytes that are non vacular that is they have no xylem nd phloem the dominant phase in bryophyte is gametophyte hile the dominant phase in pteridophyte is sporophyte . bryophytes ha no true roots while pteridophyte have trur roots .
