From grocery shopping bills, shopping for the best price, understanding sports (being a player and team statistics), figuring out distance, time and cost for travel, etc. It is used everywhere. That is why its important for one to know basic maths atleast.

Disadvantages of a person who doe snot know maths are:

• He/ She would not be able to identify if they have paid the correct amount of money to the seller or received the correct amount of money back as change.
• They would not be able to handle their bank accounts properly. They would make errors in payment, loans, taxes, etc.
• Cannot adapt modern world, since modern world is the era of advance technology and engineering.
• Having low skills in analysis, logical and critical thinking .
• Not financially literate since mathematics control the flow of money through business and money math (branch of Mathematics).
• Would not be able to find a career for their future as they would not be able to attempt papers as every subject has a maths in it.
