the effect of off was applied on a rigid body and a non rigid body is different if we apply of force on a rigid body then there will be no change in it but if we apply a force on a non rigid body than a force can change the direction or shape or dimension or volume of that particular non rigid body.... so they had different each other..

Force is a push or a pull that changes or tends to change the state of rest or uniform motion of an object or changes the direction or shape of an object. It causes objects to accelerate. SI unit is Newton.

When force is applied on a rigid body, there will be no change in the shape or size of the rigid body. In case of a non rigid body the force will distort shape or size or even change both size and shape of the body.

so,we can not find the cause and effect of force on rigid bodies,there are no stresses developed in case of rigid body,without stress,there is no strain developed, though internal stresses develops in rigid body.

Incase of non rigid body,we can find the cause and effect of force,like stresses,strains etc...
