i) when we squeeze a lemon , force is applied by our fingers on the lemon.This results in change in shape of the lemon.

ii)when we press the toothpaste ,our fingers are used to exert forces on the toothpaste tube .

This results in change in shape of the toothpaste tube.

iii)when you press a lump of dough in a downwards direction with your hands then its shape will changed but there will be no change in it's state of motion.

iv)If we apply the brakes to a moving car it comes to rest.This shows that force can make a moving object go slower.

v )The huge exerted by the bat on the ball causes severe distortion of the ball as it is hit.
