The various effects of global warming are:
• Melting of polar ice-caps and glaciers in the tundra regions.
• Increase in sea levels leading to floods and even submerging of certain places under water.
• Very high temperatures, especially during summers, that causes heat strokes, forest fires, etc.
• Extreme weather events like bushfires, cyclones, droughts and floods are becoming more frequent and more intense due to global warming.
• The oceans serve as a sink for carbon dioxide, taking up much that would otherwise remain in the atmosphere, but increased levels of CO2 have led to ocean acidification.
These are only a few impacts of Global Warming out of numerous effects.
