Louis 16 was ruler of France during French Revolution. During 18th century French society was divided into three estates. 1 st estate included Clergy, 2nd estate included Nobility and 3rd estate included common people.
Louis 16 called an assembly of estates general. 1 st and 2 nd estate sent 300 representatives respectively. 3rd estate sent 600 representatives. They had to stand at back while 1st and 2nd estate's representatives we're seates facing each other. Each estate had right to one vote.
