Main characters are Johnsy and sue and the Bherman.

Here Johnny will get a disease called pneumonia which makes a person sick and make them feel that they will not live.

Here Bherman was an unsuccessful and old painter.

And Sue and Johnsy used to take care of him. So as Johnsy gets that disease, the Bherman did a great miracle.

As this disease makes a person feel to die, Johnsy started comparing to the ivy leaves which was falling everyday.

One day in a winter night, only 3 leaves were left and that night a huge, dangerous strom came. Sue was so scared that the leaves fell of, but luckily, one last lead was left. Then Johnsy realized that this is not good to feel to die.

But the twist is that, in the huge Strom, the Bherman painted the last leaf and passed away that night painting.
